I really loved my residents, my coworkers, as well as upper management, they really cared about us and did whatever they could to help.

What I wish was different

I experience days where we were extremely short staffed and were unable to give our residents the proper care they need and deserve.

Advice

Being a nursing assistant takes hard work, it’s not easy, but be patient, compassionate, caring, because it’ll make the job so much easier and better.
