Molson Coors Beverage Company

procurement intern

June - August 2022 • Milwaukee, WI

What I liked

Amazing company culture and great people that work at Molson Coors. I also learned a lot about the field as well as other parts of the company. They also have great benefits for their employees, and try to convert as many interns into full-time workers upon graduation.

What I wish was different

I wish the 20 interns in the building had more networking events together as well as fun activities to all get to know each other.

Advice

Ask as many questions as possible and come with enthusiasm.

Project Engineering Intern

June - August 2018 • Elkton, VA

What I liked

I was given a lot of responsibility right off the bat and had significant exposure throughout the summer in all areas of the brewery. There was a large amount of support from my managers and coworkers as well.

What I wish was different

I wish that there had been more interns so that I could have interacted more with people my own age.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions, take initiative, and come up with your own ideas for improvement if you have them.

Finance Intern

June - August 2018 • Milwaukee, WI

What I liked

Great people to work with and the corporate culture was pleasant. Free beer was a plus!

What I wish was different

I wish that that internship lasted longer.

Advice

Network if you want a higher chance of getting a full time offer! Most people aren't going to know you because you are there for a short amount of time as an intern. If you ask people for a meeting to discuss what they do and their experiences, most people will agree and those that don't are usually too busy. It also shows initiative and interest in your part, which is one of the biggest thing people look for in potential employees. It might seem bothersome to ask people to talk about themselves, but some people do have cool stories to tell, and you get to see what road people took to get to where they are now.

Finance Intern

June - August 2018 • Milwaukee, WI

What I liked

Good people. A lot of free beer. Projects that they actual implement and use. Good internship program.

What I wish was different

Bad industry to be in now a days, a lot of layoffs coming. Management seems kind of poor. Also you have no say in what department you're placed in.
