I loved working with kids because they allow me to reminisce on my own childhood. Especially working with dependents who come from a military background, we all can relate to each other because we understand what its like to have a parent deployed or living in multiple states at such a young age.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time with the kids because the first month was dedicated to training.
Advice
If you ever want to apply for a government position, apply early. The earlier the better because it takes a really long time for your paperwork to be completed before you can start in the position.
