What I liked

I loved the company culture there. There was happy hour every Friday at 3PM. My mentor and his colleagues all have at least a Ph.D under their belts, and they were all very well scientifically well informed. Besides the wealth of knowledge and resources offered at the company, all the employees come into work with a great attitude. Everyday was a progressive day.

What I wish was different

I wished the HR department at MedImmune had organized more fun activities for interns to attend and participate. Interns were allowed to attend company events but there was not much events designed for interns.

Advice

For most of the intern positions here, you must at least have experience working with mammalian cells. They will not accept you otherwise, as this is a pharmaceutical company and drugs made here must work on human cells before progressing onto clinical.
