What I liked
I loved being able to immerse myself in a laboratory setting and learn how to hands-on apply the skills I studied in class to my actual laboratory work.
What I wish was different
The only thing I would change would be to apply early so I could've done independent research.
Advice
To reach out to professors to get your foot in the door because lab experience not only looks great but also supplements your knowledge and can provide affirmation on career choices.

The people and schedule was a perfect fit for me as a student-athlete. I was here only a part of the summer and they were very open of give athletes chances to work while taking classes and training.

Nothing, except maybe working more at times because I liked it.

I'm a bio-electrical engineer and the opportunity was geared towards pure electrical engineers.
