What I liked

I enjoyed the overall goals to spread the island state of mind. The company really does care about their staff and the teams well being. Our bosses were very understanding, especially with staff who are students and putting their education first. My favorite thing is that almost all of our management team was Stockton Hospitality Alumni, so they understand a work-life and school balance.

What I wish was different

There isn't much that I would change since I genuinely loved the job so much. Being that the internship took place in the peak of the summer, it was difficult to learn all of the policies and procedures. Once I was able to sit down and actually go over everything, I learned a lot that I will be able to use throughout my career.

Advice

Have fun and take all advice. I have learned so much within my almost two years here that will stick with me forever. I made life long memories and friends that I will treasure forever.
