About the MJCCA
The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) is committed to strengthening the quality of life in Atlanta and is recognized as one of the most highly-regarded Jewish community centers in the nation. Our NAEYC-accredited preschools, award-winning camps, outstanding cultural events, and invigorating sports and fitness programs engage and connect the community.
MJCCA History
One hundred years ago, Jews with vastly fewer resources than today built a Jewish Community Center in Atlanta. With little more than their passion for a better life, they built a safe, secure, and vibrant community center for their families and for all of the Jewish Atlanta families who followed. The MJCCA has always given the community a place to gather and connect with friends and family through meaningful programs and much-needed services. For 100 years, the MJCCA has turned everyday minutes into Jewish moments that are remembered for a lifetime.
MJCCA Mission
To foster and ensure a vibrant greater Atlanta Jewish community by providing programs and services of distinction that attract, involve, and inspire meaningful connections and promote Jewish values.
MJCCA Vision
» To systematically build, grow, and sustain our core programs and services in a fiscally disciplined manner.
» To ensure we have the appropriate facilities and visionary leadership to meet the growing needs of the Atlanta Jewish community.
» To engage in community partnerships and collaborative efforts to offer a continuum of programs and services.
» To serve as the premiere Jewish institution that connects and engages all ages and backgrounds.
» To foster personal growth of our members through cultural, educational, social, and total wellness activities.
