What I liked
I was able to do a variety of different things while I was interning here. I installed and exhibit, gave tours, and even developed educational plans! It was nice to be treated almost as an equal and not as an inferior "intern." My supervisors valued my opinion and knowledge while also helping me grow within the field. If we had an interest in any specific aspect of the museum or archives we were able to explore those interests, and we were often encouraged to do so. Overall a very helpful and exciting experience.
