Excellent management and you feel very welcomed there. They hosted several events for interns to go to, it helped with communicating with upper management as well. The learning experience you gain while being in school is immense and you can work your way up in the company as well.
What I wish was different
I think the pay could be slightly increased based on market demand even though it's just an internship.
Advice
Ask lots of questions, everyone at the bank is so helpful and willing to help you grow as a professional. I will know way more about the banking industry thanks to Lake City Bank.

What I liked
Educational experience, built connections, developed hard skills in audit field.
What I wish was different
I wish COVID was not a hinderance to the experience. I think it would have been awesome to get to go to each branch and do on site audits, rather than virtual.
Advice
Learn to not know a stranger. While I was in audit I grew to know the Loan Operations department very well, and was invited for their daily stretching activities. As an intern, it is important to "shoot your shot" as much as possible.
