I liked being able to work alongside prominent researchers in the fields I am interested in, and being able to work on other projects beyond the data entry such as assisting with literature reviews.
What I wish was different
More opportunities for hands-on participation beyond data entry, such as helping to run the paradigms for EEG and eye tracking or pre-processing/hand-editing the EEG data collected.
Advice
You have to advocate for yourself to ensure you get to do something beyond behavioral assistance and basic data entry. I learned a lot, but it is harder to have a hands-on role in a lab like this one.
