What I liked

The environment is extremely professional and well-organized, and I was comfortable in my responsibilities and the variety of tasks I was exposed to through my work with the Publishing team.

What I wish was different

Being involved in so many meetings right off the bat, while informative, was a little overwhelming. The knowledge I gained from the initial meetings (regarding how work was divided between teams, and how long term and short term goals were organized) could have been communicated differently before I began attending them.

Advice

Ask any questions you have! The onboarding process is well paced, and there's a ton of material provided, but don't hesitate to reach out to your coworkers. I was initially hesitant to reach out with questions, assuming I wasn't looking hard enough in the onboarding documents for answers, but my experiences in my first week quickly showed me the open-door, "ask me anything" culture at the office.
