Everyone is very nice and understanding with you. They guide and teach you the inner works of broadcasting and overall it’s a very learning experience.
What I wish was different
Not anything, you do something new everyday.
Advice
You have to ask around and be curious about everything in the newsroom, don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What I liked
KMOV is a dynamic, surprising, and engaging work environment that pushes their employees to be the best work versions of themselves. The people who work at KMOV are all extremely friendly and great to work with. Individual talents shine brightly here at KMOV, and hard work output will be recognized by peers and directors alike.
What I wish was different
Daily routines and stagnation can occur some days at KMOV. There is not always excitement, and some assigned tasks can be a little monotonous.
Advice
Always ask if you can help out anywhere. The KMOV newsroom is full of talented individuals fulfilling a multitude of different roles, so there is always somewhere to lend a hand.

What I liked
I loved being apart of the news and being able to cover professional sports and be able to talk to highly respected sports figures.
What I wish was different
I wish sometimes there was always something to do. With the news it can be hard somedays because sometimes absolutely nothing newsworthy happens. Somedays you sit there waiting for something to go down.
Advice
Be open to anything nd try everything. You never know what you are going to enjoy until you do it. Also be able to perform tasks brings lots of knowledge rather than listening to someone telling you how to do something.
