The office staff and everyone I met in the company were super welcoming and supportive of my learning about their company, the industry, and my specific skills and tasks. They were always willing to take time out of their day to answer a question or teach me a new skill. I also felt like I was given a lot of responsibility in my role, and they trusted me to do what needed to be done and do it well.
What I wish was different
I would've liked more time out of the office to get on job sites or see more of the company.
Advice
Stay open-minded to learning everything you can about the company and industry even if you're uncertain that it's the direction you want your career to go in. You could find that you really enjoy it, or you could come out with a great experience, new skills, and new networks. A win-win either way.
