I loved the direct connections between the work I was doing as an intern and the content I was learning about in my LSJ courses! Learning about the mark of one's criminal record and then receiving a call from a previously incarcerated individual who requests assistance expunging their record is priceless.
What I wish was different
It was quite early in the morning.
