Working with Keshet is one of the best experiences I have ever had! Everyone is so friendly and you always feel supported which is super important when working with kids with special needs. Being in a camp setting is so fun and laid back but you definitely still feel like you are making a difference in kids lives.
What I wish was different
Nothing! It's such an amazing job.
Advice
If this is your first time working intensely with kids with special needs it's going to be hard at first but the staff at camp are there to help you. Don't forget to reach out to them when you need more support.

What I liked
I loved the campers and my coworkers. I was able to explore the city while gaining professional experience of teaching and being a one-to-one support for a child with disabilities.
What I wish was different
I could have used a little more support after a child had a breakdown with physical behaviors.
Advice
It takes a lot of patience! It will be the best job and the hardest job at the same time.
