This internship involved working with multiple land trusts in the area, KELT, BTLT, PLT, and the Nature Conservancy, and I appreciated getting to see what land trust work looks like for different organizations as well as having the opportunity to network.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have been exposed to more elements of land trust work as we spent most of our time in the field. Nonetheless, the field work was a valuable experience as well.
Advice
This opportunity is really valuable for networking and can be extremely helpful for determining whether one is interested in working in a land trust community.
