Indeed

Intern

June - September 2022 • New York City, NY

What I liked

There were plenty of intern events and networking opportunities. As interns, we were able to travel to the office or work from home. We were also able to and encouraged to attend the company's enrichment events.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have been working in-person more with the people on my team.

Advice

Do not be afraid to admit that you are confused about something or that you do not know something. Everyone is happy to help! Also get to learn as much about the company and its goals as possible!

Site-reliability Engineering Intern

May - August 2018 • Austin, TX

What I liked

The culture, food, location, process, people, projects, and everything else - The internship program is really set-up to help you succeed, and the culture is a ton of fun. Definitely able to learn a lot from the summer tech talks and the scale of data you will be working on is awesome too.

What I wish was different

Nothing really was wrong, my only wish was that I brought my car down as paying for Lyfts / Ubers all over was annoying.

Advice

Indeed gives you tons of freedom and some interns wasted that by playing games, pool, etc. and not working. You can have your cake and eat it too, just learn to find balance - you'll have fun, complete your project, and get an awesome return offer as well.
