I liked learning about job shop manufacturing. I liked seeing the raw materials come in and go through multiple processes until a finished product was going out. I like learning about how pumps work, first hand, and building sub-assemblies for them.
What I wish was different
The management is a bit old school, which is normal for manufacturing, but I wish they had more training in how to manage people.
Advice
It's great to learn how processes work that are the basis for most of the products we own today.
