Everyone at HSCC is so kind and compassionate. You're not afraid to ask for help there, because everyone is looking out for your and the animal's best interest. You gain hands on experience working with the animals and staff.

You need to have the confidence and assurance that you can work with animals, sometimes fractious, and be able to keep your cool when dealing with them.
