What I liked

The mentorship was beyond anything I could have expected or asked for; every engineer there was a wonderful teacher and truly had my best interests in mind. I was able to get a lot of experience in various areas - site/bridge design (civil 3d), hydraulic design (WSPRO), permitting, construction observation, and more. It was a great working environment, placing a strong focus on teamwork, excellence, and employee well-being.

What I wish was different

My only issue with the firm was that I couldn't see myself in Macon long-term. Otherwise, I have no issues whatsoever, and I can't recommend them strongly enough.

Advice

Come in with an open mind, and try not to get overwhelmed during the initial training process. It's a steep learning curve, but your mentors will ensure you learn well and always have your back.
