My favorite part about being a camp counselor at the Houston Humane's annual summer Companion Camp was getting to help kids interact with animals. Everyone's positive energy is contagious, and it is so rewarding to share the Houston Humane's commitment to animal welfare with others.

This is a great time to learn about classroom management! Try to observe as many interactions as you can and maybe even document what techniques you found to be most helpful during your experience.
