What I liked
I developed and sharpened my knowledge of dermatology and the medical field as a whole. I achieved a greater appreciation for proper and professional on the job training in which I am not simply told to memorize the order in which to complete tasks, but where there is an emphasis on WHY I need to do these duties in such an order, enabling me to be ready apply my knowledge in situations that are different from those in training. The serious amount of patient interaction from escorting patients to rooms, going over PHI, and comforting the patient, while assisting the medical staff in scribing and in the procedures finalized my decision to enter the medical field as a provider.
