One thing that I liked about my experience with Horizons Edge as the Marketing Intern was the wide variety of skills I was able to learn. From social media marketing, creative writing, grassroots marketing, webpage development and everything in between, I am positive this internship will have greatly prepared me for my future.
What I wish was different
Something that I wish was different during my experience at Horizons Edge (thus far) is the fact that I did not give myself enough time to experience the amazing events that take place constantly. It is difficult to get the full experience when enrolled in a full course load, however, I plan to make this a priority upon my return in the spring.
Advice
One piece of advice I would like to share about my experience is to not shy away from any opportunity you may be uncomfortable with or unsure of. Even though this internship was outside of my comfort zone, I decided to put myself out there and now I know I ended up making the right decision for my future.
