For a startup the structure and guidance was good. My supervisor Kyle managed 15 interns over the summer but was able to help and offer guidance whenever needed.
I enjoyed working remotely and having flexibility. Being a commission based position you only earn if you made sales. I enjoyed the training I received with my supervisor.
What I wish was different
Knowing what I know now about sales and the huge amount of learning resources available (online courses and books) I wish that the company would have pushed these towards me at the start of the internship. I think I would have been able to be a lot more successful with just a little more education.
