I very much enjoyed being able to help high schoolers come out of their shell and learn about their backgrounds.
What I wish was different
I wish all track's were able to experience a different track's experience for a day. That way they could have experience in a different track other than the one they were involved in for the week.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to anyone who is looking to be a camp mentor, be kind and open to everyone so they feel comfortable with you in an environment away from home.
