Wonderful team. Always willing to work with me on adjusting my hours or responsibility as needed. If I didn't know how to do something they were more than happy to teach me. Fairly independent work but always able to ask for help when needed. They were always open to new ideas and feedback on my experience with while working for them.
What I wish was different
I had a mix of responsibilities managing lab equipment and supply inventory as well as assisting with experiments. I did handle much more managerial issues than lab time. I wish I had more of a role in helping with experiments. I did express this in the exit interview and my feedback was well received. So I believe future interns will have the option to be more hands on than I was.
Advice
The team there is more than happy to work with you. If you need to switch up your hours, or learn new skills a simple conversation can go a long way.
