I really loved this job but it was stressful. It was easier if you were just yourself, kind, helpful, and positive. The team ends up functioning like a family.

What I liked
At first I was really nervous. But my co workers and bosses helped me get the proper training needed and eventually I was able to help in a few different departments in no time! I love working here, my co workers and I make a good team.
What I wish was different
One thing I wish that had been different is that we are allowed to have parties at the hotel,
as that would bring more people in!
Advice
I recommend that people do research about the hotel before the interview and don't hesitate to ask as many questions as needed while training.

What I liked
I liked that I was able to be an acting manager. I was also able to work in different departments to get the training and experience.
What I wish was different
I wish that I wasn’t stuck on the front desk as much. We were incredibly understaffed so I had to mostly work at the front desk instead of training more in other departments.
Advice
I learned so much about how to act as a manager and how to prepare for the next step in my career once I graduate in December.
