I wish i were able to work more hours. After this summer ended they have barely given me any work what so ever

try and maintain a good relationship with your employer even if it seems like they dont always give you respect.

When working in the hospitality industry, remember that you can only control what is controllable. Do your best where you can, but don't take it personally if you fall short, just do as much service recovery as possible.

Banquet Set Up Person and Server

What I liked
I really liked serving for the banquets so that I made more money through gratuity. I had trouble making money only setting up for events.
What I wish was different
I wish it was closer to home. I had to drive 12 miles to work at both early and late hours.
Advice
You are required to do a lot of physical work and that is something you should think about before getting into a job. This wasn’t a problem for me, however I could see it being one for others.
