I loved that I got to work with a team of people all doing different sides of production and pull that together every week to do services. I also loved getting hands on experience in live music since that's not something you really get much experience with in class.
What I wish was different
I wish I had a little bit more hands on work with live mixing, but I am happy I got to shadow the sound engineers a few times and learn the basics of the board.
Advice
Don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and try new areas of interest! I got to work as a camera operator on Sunday mornings which I had never done before and it was really nice to get to explore some more visual parts of production.
