I really enjoyed the practical experiences that my internship offered me. It was great to have autonomy in deciding which projects I want to take on and developing my professional soft skills.
What I wish was different
I wish that there were more event for all the finance interns. I would've liked to network more with people in the department and gain more insights on their roles.
Advice
I would suggest to be proactive. When you're an intern, even directors and VPs will be open to chatting with you for around half an hour. It's a precious opportunity to learn.
