In just over a year of working at GuideSpring, I gained more financial and real life knowledge than in most of my classes. The environment of the office is very welcoming and team oriented. Working with financial professionals and team members allowed me to obtain knowledge within the financial sector that I had not yet been exposed to. I also learned many strategic investment and wealth management strategies that not only benefitted clients but will help me in my own financial future. Overall, working at GuideSpring was a very positive experience.
What I wish was different
Nothing, great leadership and very flexible work schedules.
Advice
Keep an open mind when starting a new job like this one. Before the internship I had not ever considered pursuing financial advising as a career, however after months of learning and hands on experience I was able to determine that this is a path I would like to continue on.
