The people who trained me were very helpful and made sure I was comfortable before leading classes. The information we covered with the students was interesting and engaging, and it was a lot of fun to see how much the kids enjoyed it.
What I wish was different
I wish I had started earlier, I missed the first lessons because I heard about it in the middle of summer.
Advice
Make sure you are comfortable with kids, and that you can deliver a lesson at the front of a classroom.
