What I liked
Familiarizing myself with the store and checking the prices and codes for each item. I also enjoyed having early morning shifts that left me with the rest of the day after noon to be able to do things with family or friends or take care of any work or errands I needed to do.
What I wish was different
That I could of continued my work there while commuting to school an hour away. I wish I had worked full time instead of part time.
Advice
Don't go into a job thinking you aren't going to like it, you can make the most of your experience by keeping an open mind about what you will be doing.

One piece of advice is to embrace differences. You will undoubtedly interact with a customer who is much different than you. This exposure to many viewpoints and personalities is crucial to your growth and development as an employee and a person.
