This was an incredible opportunity that offered me the chance to work both with the Global Livingston Institute (GLI), Kabale Municipality, and Coca-Cola soda company. Together, we created an awareness campaign for an upcoming recycling center. GLI empowered me to take the lead on the campaign and get involved in multiple media outlets, such as the radio station and local newspapers.

Advice
Working with foreign governments can be tricky. I would definitely recommend adhering to certain values such as respectful dress code, etc. In Uganda, it was important for women to wear long skirts or dresses in official meetings.
