I enjoyed being given a variety of tasks and doing meaningful work for the company. The group was small so my efforts were sent directly to leading staff members.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship had been in person instead of online.

This helped me to understand consulting and I gained a better understanding of what working in a large corporation is like.

What I liked
I had the opportunity to gain hands on experience in a manufacturing environment, while working with individuals in a variety of departments. Glanbia Nutritionals welcomed me with open arms and allowed me to use my educational background in Chemical Engineering to work on rewarding and challenging projects in the food and nutrition industry.

My day to day work was very beneficial and included a lot of mingling with full time employees.
What I wish was different
The case study that we participated in was not quite what we had hoped it would be. They seemed to now take it seriously.
Advice
I learned an incredible amount from this experience. One thing I would recommend would be to always pay attention and make sure to take notes and keep everything written down. Otherwise you WILL forget.
