What I liked

As part of GKN's rotational program, I have been able to work with 6 different groups including customer application teams, lab rotations, and a test group rotation. This provided a broad range of experiences and exposure to many aspects of engineering.

What I wish was different

Nothing. GKN has been an amazing internship experience. Maybe the hourly rate of compensation could be a little higher, but the working environment and benefits help make up for this.

Advice

Be genuinely interested and wanting to learn as much as possible and you will get a lot of knowledge funneled into you. Be social and mingle with other interns and employees, make as many connections as possible, you never know who knows the right person that could end up wanting to help you out.
