I really liked working with my team to make summer camp a safe place for us and the kids as well as getting to know my 3-5 year olds.
What I wish was different
I wish that we did not have to keep the same class of kids for the entire day, but that is what covid-19 permitted for safety.
Advice
Taking care of 3-5 year olds for 8 hours a day was a harder challenge than I expected after having no previous childcare experience, but those kids impacted me and I really enjoyed being a part of their summer and bonding with them!

Just take it day by day. It is a completely new experience teaching in a time when the entire concept of education is changing. Teaching during a pandemic is something I will remember for the rest of my life!

What I liked
I loved the people I worked with they were amazing. They were from all different walks of life some were retired veterans, nurses, teachers, etc.
What I wish was different
I wish I could still be working there because I really loved working with the children.
Advice
Always go to a new place ready to learn new things. Don't go in acting like you know everything because I found everything is a new opportunity to learn new things.
