I loved everyone there, they were all so kind and willing to help. They want you to be there and it shows. I loved that I wasn’t focused on one specific project all summer, instead I focused on multiple projects based around substance misuse. I enjoyed learning how funding for a nonprofit works and the many obstacles that can surround it
What I wish was different
I wish that this internship had been in person, but due to Covid my experience was online

I think that this experience allowed me too learn a lot about the inner workings of the nonprofit world, substance misuse outreach, organization, and about myself
