Go have lunch or coffee with the different people around the office, and put yourself out there. There's only good that can come with making friends and working hard at the office :)

Experiential Marketing Intern
June - August 2017 • New York City, NY
What I liked
I was able to do hands on projects and was very involved with clients. My team allowed me to work independently and gave me a lot of responsibility which helped me grow.
What I wish was different
Living in New York is expensive!
Advice
Use your team as a resource to learn about the whole company. As an intern you may feel pressured to only do or be interested in the department of your internship, but take advantage of working for a whole company and meet other people from other departments.

Account Management Intern

What I liked
The best part of working for Geometry has been the hands on work experience. This internship has given me real world experience working with some of the biggest retailers in the country such as Walmart and Kroger.

Advice
My biggest piece of advice is to work hard and to constantly be willing to learn. Learn by asking good questions. In addition it is important to take every opportunity to gain new experiences within the office. Also, talking to different people within your work place is essential and an easy way to have access to new opportunities outside of your job description. The cool thing about being an intern is you have an excuse to shadow and learn about all aspects of the business you are working for.
