What I liked

I like that I am a 1099 employee. With that being said, I get to make my own schedule each month, and do the work my way. I also get to work remotely which helps since I am still a student.

What I wish was different

I wish that we had more meetings to make sure everyone is on the same page with our marketing strategy.

Advice

Social Media Marketing may sound like an easy job because most of it is done from your mobile device right? Well, it's not. Social Media Marketing is VERY time consuming. Even making captions for posts takes time, figuring out the latest hashtags, trends, editing, etc. It's all very time consuming - not hard.

What I liked

Everyone that I had the opportunity to meet truly enjoyed their job and our work unit at the Lodge and Club (where I worked) functioned similar to a family unit. It was a well oiled machine that actually cared for each members wel being. Also the community and interactions between member and employee were sincere.
