The kids that I taught here were willing to learn and were active. Although I came from a different cultural background, the kids welcomed me. The people I worked with also were supportive and would do their best to help me teach the children.

The weather in the Dominican Republic is really hot. So it is important to know beforehand that it can be tough to teach in this environment.
