I loved working with the kids and my co-workers. One of the best jobs I've ever worked!
What I wish was different
Pay. Definitely wish I was paid more for it being such an important and hard job.
Advice
I would say get to know your other co-workers! It was the one thing that really got me through the summers. Also, it's important to become "friends" with the kids, it just makes the job easier!

I enjoyed spending time with the campers and other counselors, getting paid to teach kids about how to intersect with each other and the world around them

I wish the scheduling of the day had been a bit different.
Advice
Children require a lot more attention than you might think, and it always helps to be prepared. To a child, everything they experience is either the best or worst thing.
