What I liked
The research cohort in Ghana has been incredibly supportive and have led to an intellectually stimulating environment. The independent nature of the program also allows me to continue to shape and change my work as I see fit while also giving me the time and flexibility to experience Ghana as a whole
What I wish was different
At times I wish there was a bit more supervision in order to help create deadlines and keep the work moving forward.
Advice
This is a type of fellowship that you will not be successful at unless you are intensely intrinsically motivated.
