I was able to work on site at a local beach. It was the summer so it was beautiful to be around and learn about the different coastal ecosystems surrounding Clam beach.

Advice
If it wasnt for volunteering, I would have not been able to really get to know the staff at the non-profit which helped me get a better sense of the importance of networking. I highly suggest volunteering or integrating yourself with organizations and programs throughout your college years. It helps with networking and even gain interests that could help devolp your career goals.
