Compliance Intern

May - August 2018 • Durant, OK

What I liked

Headquarter in my hometown, exactly where I wanted to be this past summer. Faith based bank with a desire to grow their unique intern program. had around 30 interns. Got to do a lot of cool events such as intern topgolf, dinners with certain people in the bank, community service.

What I wish was different

The workload wasn't new, repetitive day in day out. Wish I could've been more exposed to certain areas of the bank.

Advice

Give it a shot, it's more personalized than most other internships. This is not a cookie cutter bank, and people may view that as not as higher in regards to quality of the experience. The bank will love and care about you as if you've been apart of their "family" for years.
