Dungarvin is a national organization of privately owned companies that are dedicated to providing high quality, community-based supports to people with varying support needs. Founded in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1976, Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 3,500 people who currently provide supports to over 3,200 individuals across 13 states. We believe all persons faced with the challenges of a disability have the same rights and the same basic needs as do other citizens without disabilities.
Dungarvin’s mission and values apply to every person we serve, including those with significant behavioral, medical and physical challenges. We are committed to principles of self-determination, self-actualization, and to the preservation of dignity of each person we serve, regardless of the nature or degree of their needs. Dungarvin’s mission is respecting and responding to the choices of people in need of supports.
Dungarvin provides a variety of individually tailored services and supports including supported living, day services, supported employment, case management, supported foster care, children’s services, respite care, elder care, host homes and supports for persons with traumatic brain injury and mental health needs in several states.
As a responsible service provider, we are committed to offering quality services that are flexible and responsive to the individuals we support. Dungarvin’s fiscal soundness assures the long-term stability and security every person needs. Helping people with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential improves the entire community’s quality of life. Dungarvin is proud to be a part of that process.
