I learned a great deal more than I thought I would. It far exceeded any expectations that I had, and It completely helped shape my career decisions.
What I wish was different
When I started, I wished that I was more involved in all the work of the team, but I wasn't simply because I did not have the knowledge to help. I have always been included, and now I feel that I contribute to the team, and that I am much more valuable.
Advice
I would say that it's a good idea to not get frustrated during an internship. Interns are new to the field, and they are learning! Don't compare yourself to the people that have been in the field for years.
