All of my coworkers were extremely nice and patient.
The option to work remote made possible for me to get experience and earn money to pay for school while I was with family.
DLL is a leader in the industry and the members are extremely suppotive and helful.

I loved the environment and the work I was doing. Got the chance to underwrite on larger accounts and apply skills learned in college to the internship.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more projects, there was some downtime during slow parts of the month or if there weren't accounts for me to work on.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions.

IT
June - August 2019 • Wayne, PA
What I liked
This was my first Internship so I really got to gain a lot of valuable knowledge first hand from being in a professional setting. I got to see how the IT service department operated and how valuable it was to a huge global business like DLL. It really gave me perspective on what exactly I may want to do after graduation along with mentorship from amazing management and leaders at DLL.
What I wish was different
The commute! I-76 was terrible!
Advice
Apply! Apply for Internships you may initially think “I would never get it”. Because who knows, you just might, and it will impact your professional / academic careers in a huge way.

Program Manager Assistant Intern
June - August 2019 • Wayne, PA
What I liked
I liked how DLL let me create my own experience during my internship. They let me take my experience into my own hands and I got to meet with people from all different departments, and even get to embark on my passions for the sustainability team and the innovation team.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish had been different was the connections I made with the other interns. Besides the group of friends that I found, I felt that the majority of them were not very nice and were very exclusive. However, the full-time staff were fantastic! I loved my team.
Advice
My advice would be to see this as a learning experience-- because that what internships really are. Take the time to talk to new people, shadow those you're interested in, and really get yourself involved. People will see it and take notice of it.
