I enjoyed working a full week while still having my weekends free. The supervisors I worked with were very personable and were willing to help when asked.
What I wish was different
I wish I could decide my schedule. Being a summer job, this was not my priority, but it would’ve been nice.

What I liked
I loved everything about working for Digi-Key. I got real-world experience in a beautiful part of the country with incredible and helpful people for more money than I could have asked for.
What I wish was different
There isn't a lot of improvement to be made. They subsidized my housing and helped me relocate up there. It was gorgeous.
Advice
Be open-minded to the community and the people. Everyone wants you to succeed, so don't be afraid to ask questions.

What I liked
I really liked the team that I worked on, everyone was excited for me to join and wanted to push me to be better. I also liked that I was able to work on projects that made an impact. I was able to learn about the field while working and gaining that experience.
What I wish was different
There were times that I ran out of things to work on and was sitting in limbo during a sprint. However, this never lasted long, and I quickly could pick up something or help someone else out with their project.
Advice
I would recommend every get some kind of experience like this. Even if you aren't sure if you want to really do that job after college, any experience is amazing and you will meet some great people to network with. Digi-Key specifically made the experience excellent and engaging, especially being able to go out to Thief River Falls and meet a huge number of company leaders.
