I loved the welcoming and fun atmosphere at Deksia. They live into their core values and really appreciate their interns. I was able to learn about effective account management and see how a company works professionally. This is a great entry internship to get to know the ins and outs of a marketing agency.
What I wish was different
They do not always have enough work to fill a 20-hour intern schedule for account management. Although I felt the work I did was valuable, there is also a lot of time that I felt like I was not able to do as much as I could because I was not able to communicate with clients or sit in on client meetings due to COVID.
Advice
Ask about all the open internship positions to make sure you are finding the best fit!
